All Makes Auto & Truck Show brings hundreds together to show cars and share stories

All Makes Car Show

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – On Sunday, the 21st anniversary of 9/11, vehicles of all makes, models, and generations filled the parking lot at Southeast Community College.

People could come take a walk through memory lane at the All Makes Auto & Truck Show, or teach their children about the cars that used to be on the road not long ago.

Everyone mourns and remembers in their own unique way.  This event has brought car enthusiasts together for the last 41 years.

Every year the event raises money for different charities.

“This year we are raising money for St. Gianna’s women’s home and then Heroes Into Homes. They help out veterans that need help getting into an apartment,” said Dan Zichek of the Capital City Ford Mustang Club.

Zichek said one of his favorite parts is getting to speak with all the owners of the vehicles, as everyone has a story about their car.

They are also able to share memories of what they were doing on 9/11.
