Stolen guns, police equipment recovered in drug bust, Lincoln Police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police officers recovered drugs, guns and stolen police equipment during an investigation on Friday.
Shortly after 3 p.m., Lincoln Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force officers spoke with 55-year-old Peautray Green in his vehicle at a StorageMart near 56th Street and Cornhusker Highway.
Green told officers there were at least three firearms in his storage unit there, police said.
After obtaining a search warrant, officers found a 12-gauge shotgun, a .380-caliber handgun, a .22-caliber rifle and a .44-caliber handgun in the unit.
The shotgun was found to have been reported stolen out of Missouri Valley, Iowa, police say. The .380-caliber handgun was reported stolen from a home near 48th & Y Streets on April 11.
The task force received help from the Lincoln Police Department’s SWAT team to deliver a search warrant at Green’s home near 19th and Garfield Streets.
When officers arrived, there were six people in his home.
Inside a bedroom, officers found 4.1 grams of methamphetamine, a 9 mm handgun, a .22-caliber revolver and a .380-caliber handgun.
The 9 mm handgun was reported stolen out of Omaha.
In a second bedroom, officers found a bulletproof vest and rifle plates that were stolen from a Lincoln Police officer’s personal vehicle.
Officers also found 1.4 grams of meth.

Green was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, seven counts of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and three counts of possession of a stolen firearm.
Lawrence Harris, 59, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
Annastacia Morrow, 24, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
