Cool on Friday, much warmer by the weekend
The average high this time of year is very close to 40 degrees and that’s about where we’ll be Friday afternoon. After that, it’ll feel more like March around here! Our next precipitation chance comes our way the middle of next week with some cooler temperatures to follow.
We’ll see temperatures cool off into the 20s fairly early tonight and then into the upper teens to around 20 degrees by sunrise. The clouds will slowly clear out.
The wind has been an issue today! It will continue into the evening hours before tapering off after midnight. It won’t be a problem Friday.
Highs will be very close to normal on Friday. A lot of lower 40s is expected across our area.
Lincoln will try for 42 degrees, but with less wind, it’ll feel a lot warmer!
