Boy stabbed by another teen in latest violence at Fonner Park, Nebraska police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 15-year-old is accused of stabbing another boy in the latest violence at Fonner Park.

The Grand Island Police Department says a teen reported that he was assaulted by a large group of kids his age late Wednesday or early  Thursday.

Police said the victim had a large cut on his lower back.

Three 15-year-olds were arrested and charged with assault, while the teen who had the knife was also charged with use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

In May, a man was arrested at Fonner Park after being accused of burning a woman’s property and threatening to set her on fire, along with her horses.

Two months earlier, police said a Lincoln man was shot to death at Fonner Park’s stables.
