Over 1,400 fentanyl pills seized in western Nebraska traffic stop, patrol says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three South Dakotans were arrested Friday after troopers found several fentanyl pills in a pickup truck near Gering, authorities say.

The Nebraska State Patrol said a trooper pulled over a Ford F-250 that was speeding on Highway 71 around 5:30 p.m.

During the traffic stop, a dog smelled marijuana coming from inside the truck.

Troopers searched the vehicle and found over 1,400 suspected fentanyl pills, the patrol said.

Drug paraphernalia and small amounts of meth and marijuana were also discovered.

The vehicle’s three occupants – Schuyler Lammers, 36; Cory Croyle, 36; and Kaylonie Goff, 29 – were arrested on suspicion of several charges, including possession of a controlled substance.

The trio was lodged in the Scotts Bluff County Jail.
