UNL School of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has a new School of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences. On Friday, the Board of Regents approved elevating UNL's Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences to a school of the same. The upgrade will cost the campus an estimated $5,700 for a new sign, Web page changes and new stationery. UNL expects no need for additional faculty, staff or other resources. UNL officials say having a school of veterinary medicine will underscore their commitment to the field.
