Remote control racing comes to The Seward County Fair

SEWARD, Neb. (KLKN) – The Seward County Fair hosted a remote control car racing station for people of all ages to enjoy.
The station was open from 12 to 8 P.M on Saturday, allowing anyone who signed up to become a racer.
They use a remote control steering wheel and gear shift to drive the cars around a track, and the progress is monitored with a scoreboard.
The company that runs this event, Rorring Entertainment, has brought this event to a few Nebraska county fairs this summer.
They are a national organization based in Wichita, Kansas who have provided remote-control racing for over 30 years.
Tom Cratty, a spokesperson for the company says it’s been a hit.
“You hear the children up in the background hooting and hollering. The nice thing about this is it’s friendly to just about all ages, men and women. It’s so refreshing to see something like this that’s just so wholesome and doesn’t influence anything but fun,” said Cratty.
