Rain chances for the weekend
Scattered showers and storms are possible this weekend and into early next week. Temperatures will stay fairly mild through Sunday, but much cooler air is headed our way next week!
Saturday will start off cool and in the upper 50s, but we warm up to around 80 by noon and topping out near normal by mid afternoon.
Storms will be possible starting later in the afternoon in central Nebraska for Saturday. This will try to move south and east as the night progresses.
Various weather models have these storms all over the state and any that get going may become severe. Because of that, a level 1 Marginal Risk for severe storms is in place for Saturday.
More storms are possible on Sunday, but the chance for severe storms is much lower. More rain will be possible again on Monday and it will be MUCH cooler.
As for the Huskers vs Colorado game on Saturday, it’s going to be a little warm!
