Roundup: Early national signing day for Nebraska athletics

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – High school students from across the nation chose Nebraska on Wednesday to pursue their collegiate athletic careers.
Several homegrown athletes, including Carter Mick, Kennadi Williams and Braden Frager, will be staying in Nebraska.
Nebraska baseball
The Huskers added 10 prospects, including Lincoln East pitcher Carter Mick, on national early signing day.
- Aiden White – left-handed pitcher from Prosper High School in Texas.
- Gavin Blachowicz – right-handed pitcher from Olathe South High School in Kansas.
- Kayden Anderson – infielder from Glenwood High School in Iowa
- Chase Olson – left-handed pitcher from Raymore-Peculiar High School in Missouri
- Carter Mick – left-handed pitcher from Lincoln East High School in Nebraska
- Dane Most – infielder from Broomfield High School in Colorado
- Adam Kayko – infielder from Johnson High School in Iowa
- Whit Rhodes – right-handed pitcher from Hesston High School in Kansas
- Aiden Lieser – right-handed pitcher from Centennial High School in Minnesota
- Cooper Markle – outfielder from Katy Thompkins High School in Texas

Nebraska softball
Kennadi Williams, the daughter of women’s basketball coach Amy Williams, signed with the Huskers as a utility player.
Nessa McMillen from Blair High School and Macie Vickers, a California native, also signed with Nebraska.

Nebraska men’s basketball
Lincoln Southwest’s Braden Frager signed with Nebraska. He is a three-star recruit, officials said in a press release.
Nick Janowksi, the No. 114 player in the class of 2024, also signed with the Huskers. The Wisconsin native is a four-star recruit, according to ESPN.

Nebraska women’s basketball
Kennadi Williams will be a two-sport athlete, as she also signed with Nebraska women’s basketball.
Elkhorn North’s Britt Prince, a five-star Adidas All-American, is joining the Huskers in 2024.
Amiah Hargrove – a Christopher, Illinois, native – also signed with the team.
