Warm days are numbered

By November standards, it’s been VERY warm around here. In fact, Lincoln hit 72 degrees for a high four days in a row. That’s never happened in recorded history! We’ll have a couple more mild days before a cooling trend comes our way next week.

Temps Days In A Row Records

Seeing the same temperature day after day is rare, but it has happened in Lincoln. In fact, it got to 92 degrees five days in a row in July of 1942!

Wind Gusts 1

We’ll start Thursday off mild and breezy. A gusty southwest wind will warm up back up into the 60s by the afternoon.

Tomorrow High Dma

Some of us may get into the lower 70s on Thursday, but most of us will hover in the upper 60s most of the afternoon.

Wind Gusts 2

A cold front will push through in the evening and switch our winds around so they’ll be out of the north. This is also going to drag down some cooler temperatures.

3day Lincoln Forecast With Hourlies

Friday will be much cooler than Thursday, but it’s short lived. We warm right back up into the 60s for Saturday.
