160 grams of cocaine found on suspect who tried to run away, Nebraska deputies say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said it found a large amount of cocaine during a domestic violence call this week.

In a social media post, the agency said it happened overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

When deputies responded, the suspect ran away, and a foot pursuit began, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect was later caught with a backpack that had 160.9 grams of cocaine inside, the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect was booked in the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of possession with the intent to deliver cocaine and obstructing an officer.
