One flown to Lincoln hospital after rollover crash on I-80 near York

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two people were sent to the hospital Wednesday after a rollover crash on Interstate 80 near York.
The York Fire Department said in a press release that it responded to a crash around 6 p.m. near the York exit on I-80.
When crews arrived, they found a pickup truck on its roof in the median with two people stuck inside.
Both occupants were rescued from the vehicle. The York Fire Department said crews had to lift the pickup because one of the patients had a body part pinned underneath.
The department said both patients were taken to a hospital in York before, and one had to be flown to Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln.
At least four vehicles were involved, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office, but it wasn’t clear whether the other drivers were injured.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Several agencies — including the sheriff’s office, the Nebraska State Patrol and the Waco Volunteer Fire Department — helped respond to the crash.
