Driver’s ‘inattention’ caused rollover crash in rural southeast Nebraska, authorities say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A driver avoided serious injuries last week in a rollover crash in rural Gage County, the sheriff’s office says.
The crash happened Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. near 134th and Sargent roads, just east of Beatrice.
The driver’s “inattention” caused the vehicle to cross the center line, the sheriff’s office said.
The vehicle left the road, crashed into a sign and went down into an embankment, partially ejecting the driver.
The driver — who was not wearing a seat belt — was treated at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, and an investigation is ongoing.
