LFR crews battling house fire in west Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews are battling a fire Tuesday at a house near Capitol Beach.

Crews were sent to the home near Capitol Beach Boulevard and Surfside Drive around 11:30 a.m.

LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said the fire started in the garage and spread to the home.

The residents were working in the garage when the fire started, according to Lierman.

No one was injured, and the cause is under investigation.
