Man accused of flashing 8-year-old girl at Lincoln Casey’s
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man exposed himself to an 8-year-old girl this week outside a Lincoln gas station, police say.
About 5 p.m. Monday, 22-year-old Angel Rubalcava of Crete was sitting in his car at the Casey’s at 48th and Fremont streets, according to court documents.
An arrest affidavit says that as the girl walked toward the store, Rubalcava said, “I want to show you something.”
Police said she looked into the car and saw the man’s genitals. He was fondling himself, according to the affidavit.
He made a sexual remark, police said, then the girl ran to tell her mother, who was already in the store.
The affidavit says surveillance video captures Rubalcava and his car at the Casey’s.
Investigators said they used the license plate seen on the footage to track him down.
Rubalcava is charged with child enticement and intentional child abuse.
He was arraigned Wednesday, and a judge set his bond at $200,000. He must pay $20,000 to be released from jail.
Rubalcava’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 3.
