President Trump makes Election Night speech

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) -President Donald Trump delivered a speech early Wednesday morning at the White House.
Trump started his speech by thanking “the American people” for their support.
The president then described his successes throughout the night, winning key states like Florida and Texas, before saying the election was “called off.”
“A very sad group of people is trying to disenfranchise that group of people. And we won’t stand for it. We will not stand for it,” Trump said to a chorus of cheers.
“They knew they couldn’t win, so they said let’s go to court,” the president said. “And did I predict this, Newt? Did I say this? I’ve been saying this from the day I heard they were going to send out tens of millions of ballots. I said this exactly, because either they were going to win or if they didn’t win, they’ll take us to court.”
Trump then continued to list off the state he won electoral votes in, and described the margins by which he won those states, before calling the election a “major fraud.”
“We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election,” he said. “So our goal now is to ensure the integrity for the good of this nation — this is a very big moment. This is a major fraud on our nation. We want the law to be used in a proper manner. We will be going to the U.S. Supreme court. We want all voting to stop. We don’t want them to find any ballots at 4:00 in the morning and add them to the list, ok?”
At the time of the president’s speech, neither candidate had secured the 270 electoral votes necessary to win the election.
