Lincoln man sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for selling meth

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was sentenced Thursday for two counts of selling methamphetamine.

Steven James Martinez, 24, got 12 years and eight months in prison with a five-year term of supervised release.

In March 2022, Martinez sold meth to an undercover officer twice in Lincoln.

The first sale was 1 ounce of meth, while the second sale was 2 ounces.

Testing of those two purchases found a total of 52 grams of pure meth.
