LFR battles fire at northeast Lincoln home
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews extinguished a blaze Wednesday morning at a home in northeast Lincoln.
Around 3:15 a.m., LFR was sent to the home near North 44th Street and Madison Avenue.
LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said there was only damage to the home’s exterior.
There was $60,000 in damage, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Lierman.
No one was injured. Lierman said the house has been flagged for issues with squatters.
