UPDATE: Three-car crash in northeast Lincoln sends three to hospital
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department is investigating an injury crash in northeast Lincoln on Thursday that sent three people to the hospital.
Officers were sent to the intersection of 63rd and Adams streets just after 6 p.m. on a report of a three-car crash.
LPD said a dump truck pulling a trailer was driving west on Adams Street when the trailer broke loose.
The trailer drifted into the eastbound lane and collided with a silver Nissan Rouge and a red BMW, according to LPD.

Police said the driver and two passengers of the Nissan Rouge were taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
A passenger in the BMW had minor injuries but wasn’t taken to the hospital, according to LPD.
The dump truck driver was cited for not having a driver’s license and failing to secure the trailer.
