20th year of Lincoln Exposed unbothered by snowfall
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A little snow isn’t going to stop music lovers from checking out a four-day music festival in downtown Lincoln.
“Because it happens in February, every year it’s challenged a little bit with the weather,” said Scott Hatfield, owner of Duffy’s Tavern, one of the bars hosting Lincoln Exposed.
But bar owners have been preparing for this and said they aren’t concerned.
All of the sidewalks are cleared off, and each venue is only about a 30-second walk away from one another.
The festival runs through Saturday, shining a spotlight on over 100 local bands.
“This is a chance for people from Lincoln to see what’s happening in your city,” Scott said.
The other bars hosting the festival are Bodegas Alley, Bourbon Theater, 1867 Bar and the originator of the festival, the Zoo Bar.
All-day passes, which give you access to dozens of bands each day, are $35 a piece.
