Victims held at gunpoint during home invasion in south Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating an early Friday morning home invasion robbery in south Lincoln.

Around 1:45 a.m., officers were sent to a home near 13th and Van Dorn streets on a report of a break-in.

The victims told officers an unknown person — donning a mask and hoodie — broke into their home and held them at gunpoint.

The robber took items from the home before running away, police said.  Investigators think he ran to a nearby vehicle.

No one was injured.
