Lexington man sentenced in meth ring uncovered by wiretaps

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 33-year-old man from Lexington was sentenced Wednesday for his role in a meth distribution ring.
Roberto Ceja Jr. got five years and six months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine.
That will be followed by three years on supervised release.
Ceja was arrested in 2018 after authorities wiretapped three of his phones. Authorities heard Ceja talking about drugs with co-conspirators.
Federal authorities then made three undercover purchases from Liban Mohamud Adan, whom Ceja supplied with the meth. Both were apprehended.
Ceja was found to have distributed 88 grams of meth throughout the Lexington area.
Adan was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment followed by five years’ supervised release.
