LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln couple was arrested Thursday night in a string of thefts from earlier this month, police say.

The first theft was reported on Sept. 3, just before 7 p.m., at a storage area near 10th and O streets.

The victim had more than $5,100 worth of items stolen, including vintage Husker jerseys, other Husker clothing, tools and rare bottles of alcohol, LPD said.

Investigators noted that security video showed the burglary happening about three hours before the report.

Noah Williams, 26 and his wife, 28-year-old Deja Williams, used a code to enter the building.  They took items from several storage units, according to police.

A few days later, on Sept. 8, officers responded to a reported burglary at OneUp Gym near North 11th Street and Cornhusker Highway.

The burglary happened on Sept. 3, just before 3 a.m.

Police said a man, later identified as Noah, broke into the gym through a window and stole cash, a credit card and keys.

The loss was estimated at more than $260, and the building had around $80 in damage.

During the investigation, officers identified Noah as the suspected thief.

On Thursday, investigators found Williams near North 14th and Q streets and took him into custody.

Police said his wife was found about a block away and was also taken to the Lancaster County Jail.

Noah was arrested on suspicion of five counts of burglary and criminal mischief.  Deja is facing two counts of burglary, according to police.
