Nebraska volleyball secures ninth straight sweep with win over Michigan

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska volleyball’s Big Ten dominance continued Sunday with a sweep over Michigan on the road.
The Huskers won the sets 25-18, 25-13 and 25-18. The game was played in front of the Crisler Center’s first-ever sold-out crowd.

Harper Murray led the Huskers with nine kills, with Andi Jackson following behind with eight. Jackson also had six blocks, and Rebekah Allick had five.
Setter Bergen Reilly had 28 assists, almost double what Michigan’s assist leader, Morgan Burke, had.
Nebraska had a .390 hitting percentage, versus Michigan’s .079.
Sunday’s win marks the Huskers’ ninth straight sweep. It also comes hours after the NCAA D1 women’s volleyball committee placed Nebraska as the No. 1 seed in the in-season top 16 rankings.
Nebraska is returning to the Bob Devaney Center on Friday to face Northwestern. The Huskers then play Michigan State again on Saturday.
