No issues reported in medical test for puppy rescued from Nebraska pumpkin patch
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Zephyr, the puppy who was rescued from a Nebraska pumpkin patch last month, is on the road to recovery.
In an update Thursday night, the Capital Humane Society said a medical test showed no underlying issues that would have contributed to Zephyr’s condition.
The shelter also noted that Zephyr weighed in at 20.4 pounds, gaining over 8 pounds in one month.
On top of the update, CHS also shared several photos of Zephyr’s trip to Arkansas for a “family vacation.”
Zephyr is acting “very puppy-like” and enjoyed meeting new people and other canines while on the Arkansas trip, the shelter said.
“She is gaining strength and you can see it in her energy level, how much she wants to play, and also now in her physique too!” CHS wrote in the Facebook post.
