Lincoln Southeast falls to Creighton Prep in first round of Class A playoffs

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Southeast’s season came to an end Friday night, losing 31-3 to No. 2 Creighton Prep at Burke Stadium. It was a rematch from week three, where Creighton Prep also won that one 31-10.

The Junior Jays proved why they were the No. 2 seed Friday night, holding Lincoln Southeast to only three points. This was Lincoln Southeast’s eighth consecutive playoff appearance, but their fourth time in a row falling in the first round.

Prep will head to Lincoln next Friday to take on Lincoln East in the quarterfinals at Seacrest Field.
