Three Huskers among AVCA Player of the Year semifinalists

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska volleyball program is well represented in the list of AVCA Player of the Year semifinalists.
On Friday, 14 players were named semifinalists for the award, three of whom are Huskers: Andi Jackson, Harper Murray and Bergen Reilly.
Finalists will be announced on Dec. 15, and the player of the year award will be presented in Kansas City at the AVCA Awards Banquet on Dec. 19.
Jackson is averaging 2.56 kills per set with a .438% hitting percentage. She also totals 1.17 blocks per set.
Her hitting percentage leads the Big Ten and ranks seventh nationally.
Jackson has a career hitting percentage of .425%, which is the No. 1 mark in school history and the No. 1 mark among all active Division I players.
Murray leads the Huskers with 3.62 kills per set with a hitting percentage of .310%.
She also averages 2.21 digs per set and has a team-high 22 aces.
Murray has 1,059 kills in her career, which is tied for 23rd in school history.
A two-time AVCA All-American and All-Big Ten selection, Murray has racked up 97 career aces, which is tied for seventh in school history.
Reilly paces the Husker attack with 10.06 assists per set, and she also tallies 2.62 digs per set.
She orchestrates a Husker offense that ranks first nationally and is on a school-record pace with a .344% hitting percentage.
Reilly ranks No. 4 in school history in career assists with 3,318.
She has been named Big Ten Setter of the Week three times this season and 12 times in her career.
