HIGH WIND WARNINGS are in place for much of Nebraska Thursday. A Wind Advisory is in place for far SE Nebraska, as well.
Wind gusts will range from 50 to 60 mph on and off Thursday. A few wind gusts may reach the 70 mph range.
Temperatures will be decreasing as the day progresses, as well. Below are the forecast temperatures at 7:00am Thursday.
By early afternoon, most of the state will have dropped into the 20s and 30s.
After a windy and cold Thursday, we warm back up quickly. Highs in the 50s come back Friday and we remain well above average all the way through Christmas.
