Mostly Cloudy, Seasonally Cooler for Monday
Mostly cloudy skies are expected throughout the day on Monday as temperatures will fall a couple of degrees short of our average in early March. Chances for rain will pick up late Monday and through the early morning hours on Tuesday.
Light snow and freezing drizzle look to create difficult travel conditions in southeast Nebraska through Monday morning. A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for a handful of counties in southeastern Nebraska until 9 a.m. CST on Monday, March 2.

Tonight, temperatures will fall to the 20s across the majority of the state.
After a chance for light snow and wintry mix early in the evening, we look to start the day off on Monday with temperatures in the mid-20s.
Expect mostly cloudy skies for the morning commute with temperatures just below freezing.
Monday will feature afternoon temperatures in the 40s for much of eastern Nebraska, warming up to the 50s and 60s out west.
To start the work week, heavy cloud cover will likely keep us on the cooler side in Lincoln. Highs will be in the lower 40s with a light southeasterly breeze.
Rain chances look to continue for the remainder of the work week, with the potential for a thunderstorm to sneak into the mix on Thursday. After Monday, mild temperatures return with highs in the 50s and 60s.
