Drizzly Tuesday Before Late-Week Storm Chances
Today expect dense fog & light drizzle/rain through the afternoon. Temperatures will be chilly in the 40s & 50s statewide under mostly cloudy skies and light winds. Some sunshine will occur farther west where warmer temperatures are present. Sunshine comes out by Wednesday afternoon!
Overnight Thursday, strong storms will move up from Kansas and become widespread across eastern Nebraska. The main concerns will be large hail & damaging winds.
Late Thursday into Friday, strong to severe storms capable of large hail and damaging winds will be possible across eastern Nebraska.
Friday, the severe threat targets far eastern Nebraska including Lincoln and Omaha. Strong to severe storms will be possible Friday afternoon and evening as a second front pushes through. Stay tuned for the latest updates.

Thursday into Friday, temperatures really warm up bringing increasing moisture. Thursday evening through Friday, rain and storms will be LIKELY with a few severe storms carrying large hail & damaging winds. The weekend finally looks enjoyable!! Next week, temperatures could cool down due to a storm system Tuesday evening.
