Lots of wind headed our way
Thursday is going to be another very warm day, but the reason behind it is a LOT of wind.
High Wind Warnings are in place for much of northwest Nebraska
Along with the wind, it’s also going to be warm with very low humidity. If any fire gets started, it can get out of control very quickly. Because of this, a Red Flag Warning is in place.
Wind gusts on Thursday will range from 40 to 70 mph across the state.
We do cool back down on Friday with highs in the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
The next chance for precipitation moves into eastern Nebraska late on Friday. Accumulations are expected to be minor.
