Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in north Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Police said a man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in north Lincoln early Monday morning.
The accident happened just before 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 34 and W. Fletcher Ave.
Police said a 2015 Jeep Wrangler was traveling southbound on Highway 34 when it struck a 41-year-old man who was crossing the highway.
LPD said medical personnel provided aid to the man, who was taken to the hospital.
LPD said no citations have been issued and the driver of the Jeep is cooperating with authorities.
The investigation is ongoing.
