Softball America ranks Nebraska No. 1 in latest poll
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — There’s a new No. 1 team in the country, according to one national poll.
Softball America named the Huskers the top-ranked team in it’s latest round of rankings released on Monday.
Nebraska (36-6, 17-1 Big Ten) has won 11-straight games and is now in first place in the Big Ten standings.
Nebraska has played one of the toughest schedules in the country. The Huskers defeated two No. 1 teams already this season in Texas and Texas Tech.
The Huskers travel to Omaha on Tuesday for an in-state battle. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on Nebraska Public Media.
