York Police Department investigating another vandalism in park bathroom

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The York Police Department is investigating another case of vandalism in a park bathroom.
The York Parks and Recreation Department reported the vandalism to police on Wednesday, saying that the men’s bathroom at Harrison Park had been destroyed.
According to officials, it is unclear when the vandalism happened, but they suspect it occurred on Tuesday night.
Damage to the bathroom included the bathroom stalls, which appeared to have been kicked, causing them to bend.
The police department said the frames of the stalls were bent, and some of the stalls were removed from the supports that held them to the ground.
According to police, one of the stall walls was also completely taken off and left outside the bathroom in the grass.
In a separate incident, the parks and rec department said the toilets in the men’s bathroom at Miller Park had been stuffed and clogged with toilet paper, which has since been cleaned up.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 402-363-2640 or Crime Stoppers at 402-362-2999.
