Walmart in Seward closed during threat investigation, authorities say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Seward County Sheriff’s Office said the Walmart in Seward was closed on Thursday night due to an active investigation.

In a social media post, the sheriff’s office advised people to stay away from the Walmart near Fletcher Road and Highway 15.

Channel 8 spoke with a Walmart delivery driver, who said he wasn’t let into the building because authorities were investigating a bomb threat.

There has been no official word from authorities on what type of threat Walmart faced.
