LPD: 19-year-old motorcyclist dead after two-vehicle crash in southeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a deadly accident in southeast Lincoln on Tuesday night.

LPD said a 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in the incident.

LPD said it happened at the intersection of Eiger Dr. and Nebraska Parkway.

The motorcycle was reportedly traveling west on Nebraska Parkway when it collided with a SUV going east on the road and was turning onto Eiger Dr.

LPD said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

LPD does not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in this case.

The investigation into the exact cause of the crash is underway.
