Tree limb falls on north Lincoln home, one person pinned

LINCOLN, Neb — Severe storms caused a tree to fall onto a home in north Lincoln early Thursday morning, pinning at least one person inside.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to the scene near Touzalin Ave. and Kearney Ave. just before 5 a.m. on Thursday. LFR said one person had to be rescued from inside the home.

LFR said one person had to be taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Strong winds and heavy rain hit Lincoln early Thursday.

Channel 8 has received multiple reports of downed fences and tree limbs falling down.
