Storm chance Saturday, morning and afternoon
Storms are going to be possible early and then again in the afternoon Saturday. After that, we quiet down for Saturday into the first half of the week. We cool off a little, too.
Very early Saturday morning, before the sun comes up, we have a chance for some strong to severe storms. These would be very isolated and not everybody will see severe weather, let alone rain.
If a storm can get strong to severe, hail would be the main concern early Saturday morning.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storms Saturday morning, then again Saturday afternoon and evening.
With that second round of storms in the afternoon, SE Nebraska is on the very edge of the severe weather potential. This means that storms start over us, then move southeast quickly getting stronger as they go.

And we would love to see video of any storm footage you may get (safely!). You can upload that using our Now Local News App HERE.
Afternoon highs will be in the 70s and 80s for much of the state on Saturday.
