LPD investigating dead body found in storm drain near popular Lincoln trail
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a body found near a popular Lincoln trail.
LPD said the man’s body was found in a storm drain in Antelope Creek south of N St. in the area of the Billy Wolff Trail. LPD said it is a 37-year-old Lincoln man.
The LPD Criminal Investigations Unit is on the scene working to recover the body. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
A video sent into our NOW Local News app by a viewer showed LPD at the scene near the Lincoln Bike Kitchen.
The investigation is ongoing.
