KLKN exclusively hosting Chiefs’ 2026 preseason matchups
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — KLKN Channel 8, Lincoln’s ABC affiliate, is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Kansas City Chiefs. KLKN will serve as the exclusive television home in the Lincoln television market for all three of the Chiefs’ 2026 preseason matchups.
As the reigning NFL powerhouse gears up for another championship run, Chiefs Kingdom in Southeast Nebraska will not miss a single snap. KLKN’s exclusive local broadcast coverage kicks off this August, offering fans unparalleled access to live game action, expert analysis, and comprehensive pre- and post-game coverage.

The 2026 preseason slate will feature the Chiefs battling top-tier NFL talent as Head Coach Andy Reid and his staff finalize their roster for the regular season. Viewers tuning in to KLKN Channel 8 will be treated to the official Chiefs broadcast network feed, complete with familiar voices calling the action and exclusive sideline reports.
The Preseason coverage will kick off starting on August 15th at 3 p.m. CT when the Chiefs take on the Rams in Kansas City. The Chiefs will then travel to take on the Buccaneers on August 22nd at 5:30pm CT. Finally, the reigning Super Bowl Champion Seahawks come to town in a final preseason tune up on August 28th at 7 p.m. CT.
