Storms are moving through South Dakota tonight and will push into north central and NW Nebraska early Wednesday morning… after midnight. Large hail and damaging wind is possible.

The heat continues through Wednesday, then a cold front sweeps through and brings cooler air with it. And storms.

For Tuesday night, there is a level 1-2 Marginal to Slight Risk for severe storms. This won’t bring with it cooler air, but storms are possible in north central and eastern Nebraska late tonight into the overnight/early Wednesday morning. Damaging wind is the main concern, but some hail is also possible.

Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storm chances tonight into early Wednesday.

State Forecast Highs Tomorrow
