Heat continues for several days

The heat and humidity is going to continue all the way through the end of the week and into the weekend. Storm chances are minimal, but not zero.

There is a Heat Advisory in place for SE Nebraska through Friday. It will be very warm overnight and hot and humid during the day.

Early morning temperatures are going to be very warm. Middle and upper 70s are expected in SE Nebraska early Thursday.

Highs on Thursday will be well into the 90s, especially for SE Nebraska.

The heat index will be in the 100 to 105 range Thursday afternoon.

If we see any rain, it would be early Thursday morning in eastern Nebraska.
