The heat isn’t going away anytime soon
The heat is going to stick around for a while. Afternoon highs are in the 90s through next week! On and off storms are possible.
If you’re headed to a football game this Friday night, prepare for the heat. Drink lots of water, find the shade and/or AC often, and don’t overdo it!
The Huskers kick off at 11am Saturday and it’s going to be a HOT one. Temperatures will be in the 90s most of the game.
The heat index will be in the 90s and 100s for the game, as well. Stay hydrated, find the shade often, and help those that might be vulnerable to the heat (at or away from the game!).
Afternoon highs on Saturday will be in the 90s. We’ll be very close to 100 in SE Nebraska.
The heat index will be in the 100 to 105 degree range in SE Nebraska Saturday afternoon.
