Warm and dry now, cooler with rain later
The warm weather will continue into the weekend, but cooler air is just a few days away. Precipitation chances are better to the west over the weekend.
The Game of the Week will be a warm one! Temperatures will be near 75 at kickoff with a gusty southeast wind.
Temperatures will be mild on Saturday for SE Nebraska, but as you can see above, cooler air is starting to move in.
It will be windy for everybody on Saturday, but where you are compared to the cold front will determine where the wind comes from.
That cooler air stays in place for one more day giving us a mild day in SE Nebraska for Sunday.
To the west of the cold front will be the better chance for rainfall. Central and SW Nebraska may see over half an inch of rain through Sunday morning.
The rain and cooler air moves into the Lincoln area on Monday.
