LFR: Insect repellant sparks south Lincoln house fire
LINCOLN, Neb, (KLKN) — Lincoln Fire and Rescue was called to a house fire in south Lincoln early Monday morning.
Several fire trucks could be seen near S. 32nd St. and Williamsburg Dr. around 4:45 a.m. on Monday. That’s just northeast of 27th St. and Pine Lake Rd.
LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said insect repellant sparked the fire and caused about $25,000 in damage to the outside of the home.
Crews were able to put out the flames, but remained on scene for about two hours to investigate.
