LPD: $13,000 of meth found in Northeast Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Thousands of dollars worth of meth were uncovered during a search of a Northeast Lincoln home, where two children lived.
Wednesday night, around 11 o’clock, investigators with the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant to a residence near N 1st and Adams Streets.

Inside, investigators found 46-year-old Cynthia Gilchrist, 36-year-old Jennifer Brandon, and 33-year-old Kyle Oday. Investigators say two children, ages 9-years and 2-months, were also living in the home.
Officials reported finding 161 grams of meth ($13,000 street value), nearly 37 grams of marijuana, and more than 43 grams of psilocybin mushrooms in the home. Items consistent with the act of selling drugs and $6,500 in cash were also found.

Gilchrist, Brandon, and Oday were arrested on multiple drug charges. In addition, Brandon faces child neglect and Oday is charged with three outstanding warrants.
