Wednesday the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce met for a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new fitness studio that promises a one of a kind experience. The business is called Fly, A Fitness Revolution, and it’s almost ready to open.

Founders Dr. Jenni Bruning Brown and Ella Kay met at a yoga class and shared a similar passion for a fun, positive, and healthy community. So they decided to bring that vision to life in their hometown of Lincoln.

"Part of what we want is we want people, everybody that comes in, to feel great about working out. To have fun doing it and that’s part of the name as well, feeling like you can fly and feeling like you are fly," says Founder, Dr. Jenni Bruning Brown.

The dream for a new fitness studio turned into a family venture when Bruning Brown’s husband felt it was time to expand his immigration law firm with a new location. Now the couple will be neighbors downtown.

" I think it’s  a good example for our kids that I followed my own dream opening my firm, and my wife is following her dream in starting her own fitness studio and we’re supporting each other," says David Brown with Brown Immigration Law PC, LLO.

The founders of Fly say it’s different because you’ll never be working out alone. The music is electric and the atmosphere will help build confidence.

"We really focus on high customer service which is great. So we’re sort of considered a luxury fitness boutique studio. It’s not a place where you walk in and you pick up your free weights it’s only group classes," says Co-Founder, Ella Kay.

They say with 70 classes including yoga, barre, and cycling available 7 days a week the response from the community has been overwhelming.

The grand opening is Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and the first class is Friday morning. The Brown Immigration Law Firm will be moving in next door before the start of the new year.
