Give to Lincoln Day 2021

In the last nine years of Give to Lincoln Day, over $33 million has been raised by the annual event. 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Today, May 25, is the start of 2021’s Give to Lincoln Day!

Give to Lincoln Day is coordinated by the Lincoln Community Foundation. This year is their 10th anniversary.

Each organization that participates will get a share of the $500,000 in matching funds offered by the Lincoln Community Foundation and their sponsors based on its percentage of the total money raised.

This year, the Lincoln Community Foundation says a record number of nonprofit organizations are participating–a total of 456 local charities, including 33 new ones who’ve never participated before.

To search the nonprofits apart of Give to Lincoln Day and give online, go to GivetoLincoln.com. The minimum amount for a donation is $10 per charity. Donations will be charged to a credit card.

If you prefer not to give online you can donate in person on Tuesday, May 25, at:

  • Lincoln Community Foundation, 215 Centennial Mall South, Suite 100, 68508
  • Presenting Sponsor, West Gate Bank (Lincoln Locations), lobbies or commercial drop boxes

Last year, the Lincoln community raised almost $7 million for 448 local charities. In the last nine years of Give to Lincoln Day, over $33 million has been raised by the annual event.
