Lancaster County COVID-19 update

The Health Department announced fewer than 50 new cases of coronavirus.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announced one more person has died from COVID-19 in the community.

The individual was identified as a woman in her 90s who was hospitalized. The total number of deaths in the community is now 208.

LLCHD also confirms 49 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 27,104.

More than 10,883 people have recovered from the virus.

The positivity rate so far this week is 23.1%.

So far, 69,900 people have registered for the vaccine.
