Lincoln man arrested, accused of dealing marijuana

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Police officers arrested a Lincoln man accused of dealing marijuana Monday.

Around 8 pm, Lincoln Police pulled over a white 2010 Honda Accord for a traffic violation near 40th and Old Cheney Rd.

There were three passengers in the car in addition to the driver and the vehicle smelled of marijuana, says police.

This prompted officers to search the Honda and uncover 20g of marijuana, a scale, and several plastic bags.

A 25 caliber handgun was also found in the backseat near 18-year-old Ausjaron Baxter of Lincoln.

Searching Baxter’s person, police say he had an additional 14g of marijuana on him.

Lincoln Police arrested Baxter for possessing a weapon while violating a drug law and possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
